Lignes. En quête d’une mémoire

Lignes. En quête d’une mémoire is a melancholy exploration of private memories of abolished railways in Wallonia. Three retired engine drivers visit the ruins of the stations where they used to work, search for vanishing memories and talk about the trains they still dream of. Josy, one of the three men, tries to grasp and hold on to this past, in images and sounds, fragments of text and recounted recollections, together forming a jagged path. Railways like tracks of memory.
